I was born and raised in Bologna, a beautiful renaissance city in the north of Italy, and at the age of nine, emigrated with my family to the U.S., where we settled in River Forest, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Seven years later, in 1968, my family relocated to the Washington D.C. area.
After finishing high school at Walt Whitman in Bethesda and graduating from American University, I started my real estate career in 1976 with The IDI Group Companies, the area's leading developer of luxury condominiums. I have remained with the firm for the last thirty-three years working exclusively with luxury condominiums. I have been either sales agent or sales manager for some of the area's best known luxury condominium communities such as The Belvedere in Tysons Corner, Porto Vecchio and Carlyle Towers in Arlington, Altavista at Ballston Metro Center and The Belvedere just south of Arlington, where I also lived for about 4 years.
Throughout this long career, I have gained valuable experience not only in sales, marketing and pricing of condominiums but also in association budget and by-laws analysis, factors which are unique to condominium sales and purchases.
I have also worked with The IDI Group Companies in other capacities, specifically as consultant on the purchase of existing communities for condominium conversion and, currently, as broker for Carlyle Realty, L.C.

I was born and raised in Marblehead, Massachusetts, a small town situated on the Atlantic Ocean, just north of Boston. This is where I developed my love of water and boating.
Not long after graduating from Marymount/Fordham University with a major in English literature, I headed to the warmth and water of Coconut Grove, Florida. There I joined Coconut Grove Realty and sold homes and condominiums in the Miami area for almost 10 years. In the mid 80's I relocated to Northern Virginia and joined a leading real estate marketing firm specializing in condominium homes, where I worked for another 20 years.
These career experiences allowed me to develop my expertise with the marketing and pricing of condominium homes, as well as with condominium association budgets and by-laws, factors which make condos unique as a housing choice in our area.
In 2002 I had an opportunity to sell and market the beautiful condos in Belmont Bay and purchased one as a primary residence for myself. I joined The IDI Group Companies in 2006 and have been fortunate not only to be able to continue living by the water but also to continue sharing my expertise and knowledge of the condominium lifestyle…and I love every minute of it!
